This brass statue of Lord Ganesha shows the Deity with four hands and is seated on a swing. The first arm is seen holding an axe, signifying the destruction of all desires and attachments, the second is holding a rope, or a pasha, which is meant to free the seeker from his worldly entanglements and bind him to the eternal bliss of himself, the third is held with the palm out to bless and guard those travelling the spiritual path, and the fourth arm is seen holding a few round Indian sweets, which he is excessively fond of.

The attention to detail is fantastic. His vaahana, Mooshaka, has also been placed to the base of the statue by the talented artisans, making the masterpiece incredibly authentic and lifelike!  The idol is embellished with stone and ring work with Yalli carved at the top, giving it a decorative and grand appearance.
